“One Last Chance”

In my life I don’t mean much to anyone
I’ve lost my way can’t go back anymore
Once I had everything now it’s gone
Don’t tell me again coz I’ve heard it all before

Some people say that I’m not worth it
I’ve made mistakes but nobody’s perfect
Guess I’ll give it a try

I’ve got one last chance to get myself together
I can’t lose no more time it’s now or never and I try to remember who I used to be
I’ve got one more chance to get myself together

The time has come for me to change again
I can’t carry on like this, I will lose my friends - don’t say that you have given up on me
Just give me the time and space to heal my head

I don’t wanna be misunderstood
I’ve got to take this chance and make it into something good

10 things college has taught me about people/life in semester 1:

1. Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

2. You won’t necessarily find your niche right away.

3. Know your friends. It takes time to find people you can really trust and build solid relationships with. You’re close with your best friends back home because they have withstood the tests of time, don’t treat new friends the same way or assume they will act the same way.

4. Realize your priorities and their proper order.

5. You’re in this place for a reason, don’t give up so easily.

6. College is a very heavy environment, remember who you are, you can easily lose your identity in a new place.

7. People suck. (i’m cynical.)

8. Sometimes the work can be difficult and you lose motivation, but if you make it a point to incorporate something you like, it will really show.

9. Just because we’re all adults, doesn’t mean we all act like it.

10. Time spent alone can be good for you, learning how to manage your time is wise too.
